Having received and watched my copy of “I Dream Of Wires” it struck me that I might be doing it wrong when it comes to track building with SKONLab. Rather than a top down deconstruction of pre-existing patches I decided to build one from scratch.
With the subtlety of Mono-log in mind I sat down and worked out a simple patch.

Spring cleaning time. I’ve selected my favourite of the exploratory meanderings originally published via Soundcloud and spruced them up with some actual mixing so that they should sound like nice solid walls of synth on your stereos. Compared to Stone Tape – which featured an melange of divergent digital production techniques – this is primarily modular improvisation leaning heavily on pulses and drones.

I’m taking my time working on the next thing. The time spent looking for a workflow has been really useful but the grand statement awaits.
